Too tired to eat

No adventure day

Sunday we tried to go on an adventure to Bayou Sauvage Nat'l Wildlife Refuge, but the gates were locked when we got there. So, we decided to drive to Buccaneer State Park in Waveland, but it doesn't look like it's ever going to be rebuilt. It looks like a Katrina ghost still. So, we just went back home and the kids played outside. I got to see some hawks, egrets, and a heron while we were driving around, but I still have a major nature jones.

The kids were asleep for most of the driving around. The pictures inside are from earlier in the day before we left, and the outside ones are from when we got home.

These are from a week or so ago, when it was still warm. It's been cold here this week.

Gus and the magic wand

Gus got his fourth tooth yesterday and now has all four of his center teeth. The new tooth isn't the one we were expecting. There's another one that's been visible just through the bottom of the gum for at least a week, but it hasnt broken through the skin yet.

These pictures are from last week before the fourth tooth. Gus was playing in the kids' room with Viv's magic wand.
