Swamp Tour

This is going to be a bit of a photo blast- lots of pictures from today.  We took the kids for a swamp tour this morning, out by Jean Lafitte National Park.  The kids got bored with the boat after a bit but the alligators got them pretty worked up.  It was a really pretty drive along the Intercoastal Waterway- lots of swamp irises, spanish moss and old oaks.

Cookie Sale

So, when Girl Scout troops sell cookies they have to buy the cookies by the case.  So, the troops always have excess cookies from partially sold cases- so we had a sale today outside of St. Margaret's in Bywater.  It was a bit chilly out but they still managed to sell all but 11 boxes of their extra cookies.

Big weekend ahead- tomorrow Viv has a cookie sale with her Daisy troop.  On Sunday Alice and I are taking the kids on a swamp tour (I'm sure we'll have lots of pics from that).

Aquarium

The weather was supposed to be pretty foul today (though it turned out to not be that bad), so we took the kids to the aquarium.  Viv decided she needed a proper hat.
