Viv turned three last week, and we had a birthday party at our house for her. The weather was terrific, the party turned out great, and I know Viv had a fantastic time. She loved her castle cake, which turned out amazing.

Dollie's baby, Ruth.

Get ready to blow!

One more time!

Gus is climbing everything lately.

Mom, Laura, Neetsie, Auntie.

Baby Sebi, who is almost not a baby anymore.

Luc at the monkey pinata.

Viv gets a turn.

Laura gets a turn. Yeah, we blindfolded the big kids.

Aimee and Stephen watch.

Nick finally breaks the pinata.

By this time the toddlers have moved into the sandbox. Luc and Viv play so well together.

Present time! Viv opened presents from inside her new Jump-o-lene, which she loves.

Neetsie, Auntie, and Solar.

More present opening.

Most people left shortly after present time, and Aimee & I got in the little pool with the kids. Dollie and Ruth got to stay and visit too for a while.

After the pool, we came inside and we showed Aimee & Stephen Free to be You & Me, especially for the Rosie Grier song in it. The kids had some snacks, and then the Heberts left. Viv got to open her presents from us and from out of town relatives, of course from inside the Jump-o-lene, which Gus likes to climb and fall into by himself. Then Viv modeled her new princess dresses for us.

Later, we all watched Viv's new movie, Beauty & the Beast, together. A great day indeed.

What a big girl you are Viv! With a closet full of pretty, pink, frilly princess dresses to choose from ... life doesn't get any better than this!
grammy j and grandpa
looks like a great time was had by all. Wish we could have been there to "whack the pinata..."....and more.
