Evacu-cation

We'd better stop calling it that or Viv will never agree to go on a real vacation when the time comes. It was at times stressful, boring, and uncomfortable for all of us. We are just so glad that Donna's mother found us a safe place to stay.

Day 1. In the car all day long. Here's a lame picture of the contraflow during one of the very few moments where speed got above 5 mph. At least you can sort of see the oddness of all the lanes of the interstate heading one direction.

Day 2. It rained. Viv went outside and stomped in puddles in her swimsuit.

Day 3. More of the same.

Day 4. This was my birthday. Look at all those candles. Sheesh.

Day 5. Finally, an end to the rain.

Day 6, the return home.
