Bike ride on the levee

At last, we're able to take Gus in the bike trailer so we can start getting out and riding again. We loaded up the kids and headed along the levee from Arabi up through Holy Cross along the Industrial Canal. Viv really enjoys it and Gus seems to tolerate it, at least until he falls asleep. The only problem we have is that Gus' head just isn't quite big enough to keep his helmet in place, no matter how well adjusted it is. After getting bumped around in the trailer it ends up sliding down over his face and he looks like some midget sized Knight of the Round Table (if they had painted yellow chickens on the face-masks of their armour). So, we took off the helmet after a few minutes. Along the levee we're pretty safe from getting hit by anything other than wayward barges and blind pelicans.
