City Park, Members' Night

This past Wednesday night, City Park opened Storyland and the Carousel Gardens and had free rides for members from 6 to 9pm. We told the kids we were taking them on a surprise nighttime adventure, since Viv is big into surprises lately. The kids loved it! It was an extra special treat to be there in the evening unexpectedly. Viv enjoyed but was slightly scared this time of the lady bug roller coaster. She claimed to have liked it, but she admitted it was kind of scary, and she was not interested in riding it a second time. She was very much into the little kids' rides this time though, now that she can ride so many by herself. And even Gus got to ride on a ride by himself for the very first time ever - on the little cars and motorcycle ride, as you can see below. Unfortunately, my camera's unemptied memory card filled up while we were there, so I did not get many pictures.
