Hot weekend fun

Last weekend we took the kids for their lead screening at Children's Hospital. It seems to be a standard order thing here, and Dr. Oates asked us again to get it done, so we did. The kids were amazingly brave - no tears or protests of the blood draw from either of them. We took them to the zoo when it was all over, but it was ridiculously hot even by summer-in-NO standards.














Sunday afternoon, I took the kids over to Mom and Linda's to play in the backyard. They managed to beat the heat in the wading pools.
