(By the way- a mirliton is also known as a chayote squash. Like most squashes, it's scraped out and used as a container to hold more interesting food.)
Anyway.... Viv spent the whole afternoon hanging out and watching the Soul Rebels and Kermit Ruffins play.
Alice also figured out an ingenious way to feed Viv in a crowd:
