97L appears to be well on it's way to becoming the 5th named storm this season- Ernesto. It will likely gain tropical storm strength within the next day or so and if it maintains the current path, will end up entering the Gulf of Mexico early next week.
Of course, even if it gets that far the chances of it tracking towards us are slim. Still, it has people here a little on edge.
