Last night while racing on Lake Pontchartrain, Vivienne's (and my) favorite hat went overboard. It all happened while I was trying to fix a stuck rolling furler on the foredeck of the boat and we had an accidental tack. The lower edge of the jib sail was drug across me and snagged the hat. We're all a little sad around here this morning.
