St. Bernard had the annual crawfish fest this last weekend and had over 70,000 people show up, which is pretty impressive since the best guess estimate is that there's less than 20,000 of us living here. Lots of good food, drinks, music and rides- it's good to see people from here having a good time since pretty much every one of them lost their homes during Katrina and haven't had a lot to smile about for a while.
Viv's grandma Linda was also here this last week and she and Viv had a good time.
The last pic is the first artichoke out of out our garden. Word to the wise- if you want to grow artichokes, make sure you have plenty of patience. This took us over a year to get (though we have another 8 or so coming up).

Viv looks more like a kid than a baby in that first picture! The bottom two front teeth give her away though.
