Night time routine

We've recently been having a hell of a time getting Viv to sleep at night. Our old routine was having Viv fall asleep next to Alice on the couch then I'd move her to her bed. Since Gus was born, this hasn't been working very well though. She gets distracted by the noises and if Gus needs to eat she gets thrown all out of whack. As a result she's been staying up way too late and we decided we had to do something differently.

So, on our evening walks we're going to have her walk instead of riding in the stroller to wear her out. We've also switched to reading her books in her bed then having Alice lie down with her for a bit until she falls asleep. We're going to try and work towards her falling asleep on her own after she gets books, but that will probably take a bit.
