Big Top

This week we brought Gus to the Big Top for his first Friday night music camp. About every other Friday, from 5-7, they have live music and a table with an art project for kids. There's a full bar for grownups and juice boxes and snacks (animal crackers, goldfish, etc.) available for kids. Davis Rogan was playing on Friday, and he is always a crowd pleaser, in addition to being a cool, smart, funny dude. We've been bringing Viv for over a year now, and she really likes it.

Bad picture of Davis's group and the crowd to give you an idea of the venue.

Viv is getting into the art table. It's incredible that she's gone from hanging out in the Bjorn, to walking around the art table while we guard against her picking up potential choking hazards, to her playing at the art table with potential choking hazards like a big girl. Everybody warns you that these years fly by. I wish they were wrong.

The years do fly by; all too soon you will be greeting your 16 year old's boyfriend who wants nothing more than to stick his tongue down your innocent daughter's throat ...
