Oil Spill

There was a diesel spill in the Mississippi River last week right in the middle of downtown N.O. These pictures were taken on Wednesday afternoon at the levee on the corner by our house. The first picture shows the oil on the sea wall and on the dirt below. The second is the boom that is supposed to be containing the oil. The third is a tent on the batture right by the parish line where a group of people were doing remediation work of some kind or another. The last is one of the little boats that were patrolling the river that said American Polution Control.
