Check Up

Alice had another ultrasound and doppler today. The perinatologist we normally see for these is exceedingly frustrating to deal with. She's well respected and really knows her stuff, but she is absolutely horrible at answering questions and has a really thick Chinese accent to boot. So, long and short of the story is that she wants the baby out between 37 and 38 weeks (1-2 weeks from now), though we're not entirely sure why. Alice has a scheduled induction in a little over 3 weeks from now. The perinatologist sent her records on to Alice's OB-GYN who Alice will be seeing again Friday. We're not really sure what the ultimate verdict on the date will be but hopefully we'll have some better answers soon.
