More Talking News

Here's some stuff that I could think of today that Viv says now. I am sure there's more.

bowl (just like ball and bead)
powder (powpow)
hat
outside (out th)
shh (with finger to lip)
shell (like shh with more spit, if that’s even possible)
turtle (tur-tur)
bye bye (bah bye)
water (wawa)
ice (ithe)
Einstein (ein ein ein ein, etc. - when she wants a Baby Einstein, she REALLY wants a Baby Einstein)
french fry (freh freh)
pie (like pie with a southern accent)
Fraggle Rock (Fra rah)
boot
one
two (she says it right, just WAY cuter than any normal person says two)
cake
nose (noo-uh)
ear (ee-uh)
eye (ah)
mouth (mah)
yo-yo
egg (ga-ga, like Grandma)

She also learned from Baby Einstein how to sign play, friend, and story. We had never used these signs with her before. Same with lamp from Curt’s list in the last post. She’ll sign cereal still when she eats oatmeal, but we (well, Grandma) did teach her that one. She signs or makes sound effects for all of her animals still. She signs baby and blanket. I think the idea that there’s a baby in mommy’s belly is starting to take hold. Sometimes she'll kiss the belly, sometimes she'll poke it and say "Ack!" But, in all fairness, the Ack! thing can happen to anyone with any pokable body part so long as the pokee is willing to say Ack! in an amusing voice.
